Well, I think an interesting take on your paper would be how certian celebrities cross over.
For example, Beyonce. She is a singer, acrtress and model (she's done mag covers)
In the 80s the role of a musician, actor, and model were very serperate. Now they are not.
I would say singers make more money. For an appearance Beyonce gets paid about $600K for 4 hours. While an actor say works months on a movie or a day by day on a sitcom. Jerry Seinfield was the highest pay guy on TV for a while at almost 1 million an episode. Thats for a 12 or so hour day of work/

Actors get paid one check per movie. But singer's salary depend on sales. Or maybe it depends on how big of a star the person is.
