Yes, it's fine. At least half of mine will eat while in shed, so don't be surprised if he refuses. You will also need someplace to put the mouse for a week if he does refuse, but if you already have the mouse in a cage there is no harm in offering it to him.
Like all live feedings, though, you should keep the mouse in his cage no longer than 10 minutes or so. Supervise the whole time, and remove it if he doesn't show any interest in eating.

Simple really. While your snake is shedding, his eye sight becomes worse than what it is. If you cant see whats going on you become nervous and the same thing happens to snakes. You don't want to cause any unnecessary stress to your pet snake. Usually when you notice the snakes eyes go milky they clear up for a few days before he sheds. You can then feed him then if he's urgently due a feeding or wait until the whole process is over. Remember snakes are rather fussy.

Yes you could try feeding him. But he probable won't eat it until he sheds.oh and by the way snakes can't see out of their eyes. They have little air vents on their snouts that pick up the preys body heat.So snakes see red as hot blue as cold. the last part it really depends on what type of snake and how big your snake is.
I own a 4 ft Ball python. also when you drop the mouse in make sure that you supervise your snake so that the mouse doesn't hurt your snake. your welcome

If he's about to shed, he won't eat and if you drop a live mouse in with him, the mouse might attack the snake out of fear.
Wait until he sheds, then feed him again. He'll be hungry.

Drop in dead mouse if you got to go somewhere in a hurry leaving him to do so or a cricket. He should be alright then.

Teach him to eat frozen-thawed, and you'll never worry about this again.
More to the point though, it wouldn't hurt to wait.
