My daughter rotates between Heinz and Gerber depending on what's cheaper when we go shopping and she's never had a problem. The babyfood is all basically the same, just different brands. You might want to talk to her doctor about the diarrhea, because every single fruit shouldn't do that, maybe one or two, but not every single one. Good Luck!

Well, my brat is only 7 weeks old, so I don't have personal experience, but my friend has 4 kids and 5 grandkids, and they all were eating what mom and dad ate by the time they were 9 months, they never really ate a lot of baby food besides the cereal and the little treats made for toddlers. All of them are just fine, so it's fine to switch brands or even start feeding her what you eat, slowly. She may get the runs a bit when starting any new food, but doctors recommend fruit juice for constipation, so it probably is just the fruit, as you said. Baby food is made to national standards, unless of course you buy someone's homemade, so it's just a matter of finding what tastes best to your daughter. Good luck!

See if you can find organic baby food. That is better for baby anyway. Yes, fruit does cause diarhea, and fruit juices too. Keep giving her some sort of veggies she can handle, but mix it a little with something else so she doesnt distastes it so. Little ones tend to like sweet carrots. You dont have to change brands if you dont want to. Just limit the amount of fruit she is getting. If you do change brands, just mix a small amount of the old brand with a small amount of the new brand. By the end of the week she would be fully onto the new brand. Good luck.

I went between Gerber and BeechNut. I started with the Gerber fruits, but BeechNut was on sale a lot so I tried those, plus they had a bit more variety for fruit combos. I found the BeechNut dinners were too plain, so I used Gerber for those. Essentially, once she was used to eating any baby food, I stuck with BeechNut brand for fruits and veggies, and Gerber brand for dinners and desserts. My daughter didn't seem to have any problems resulting from using two different brands. I would say it's worth a try, but her having diarhea may not be from a specific brand, you may have to alter her diet a bit.

As long as it's all natural it's fine, I prefer the Beech Nut baby food because it's all natural and they have a great variety of flavors but my daughter will eat any brand I give her as long as it's a flavor that she enjoys... she refuses to eat green beans but other than that it's all good. I would suggest only introducing one new flavor at a time, wait 2 days before trying another to see how she reacts to it. Good luck!

Your baby is probably getting tired of the same old stuff. I bought whatever was on sale and at that age I started giving them a little table food like - mashed potatoes- white and sweet; yogurt - which they loved; and of course the favorite - Cheerios (I used to cut them for my first child). Remember a baby should remain on formula for a year.
Your baby is just growing up and developing his/her own taste.
Enjoy and explore! Good Luck!

That would be fine . You can also start giving her regular food. You can mash up carrots, green beans anything like that. My son likes it when i melt velveeta cheese on them. Try baked potatoes and baked sweet potatoes with a little butter ( not too much)! Mashed potatoes is a good one. Oh yeah, Chef-boy-ar-dee makes little tins that you microwave. Theres a mac-n-cheese one that is very soft and cheesy that my son loves. Just make sure that you mash it up good. They relly love to try new tastes.
