Yeah, I totelly agree.
Whats with all this Emo cr*p and what in the hell is a 'guitar band' supposed to be. Surely a guitar band would be the likes of Iron maiden who have 3 guitars and a bass and not some silly boy band.

I too miss the good old days without the shrill sounds of pre-pubescent boys trying to rock it out. I would suggest feeding them testosterone, but I'm afraid this doesn't work either. They just change their name back to Mark Wahlberg! I guess we could petition the record execs to start putting out good stuff, but as long as parents buy albums for their teenage girls... they(teenage girls) will control the music market. I suggest looking at local bands. They are not usually very polished up, but sometimes you can find a good one.

Well Nirvana was part of that crap rock migration too! Thats where it started. I dont think rock has a chance anymone. Everything sounds alike now! I like the good old days when Metallica included Cliff Burton, and rock was rock.

Yes. I have to agree with you. Even punk has lost it's edge nad that's very sad. I've been listenign ot industrial music and checking out bands on Myspace. It helps, there's emo crap on there too, but oh so much more real music!

Just be patient, it will come back. It always does. We will go through all this bubble gum crap again and then rock will make another comeback. Who knows how long we will have to wait next time though. It seems to get longer and longer each time.

I don't know, but hoping it comes back. Been hearing ( * I think ),
some pretty good stuff on the Fuse channel lately.
At least rock music isn't as bad as mainstream Top 40!
