disadvantages r more compared to advantage.Advantage is that we can gain lot of information. Disadvantages r thatbthere r chances of getting distracted due to pictures&web sites & we 'll be lazy & it affects our eyes too&addiction&chatting r the worst worst worst things in net.Pls use it carefully.

There are no disadvantages that I can think of.
However, there may be some consequences related to Internet usage. If you choose to access unauthorized sites at work and the network admin is logging usage, if you are married and using the Internet to find a little on the side, if you don't run security software and don't use discretion in opening emails or choosing the way you browse the Internet, etc. there will be adverse consequences.
I wouldn't call these things disadvantages, they are just consequenses like getting caught speeding. Getting tickets isn't a disadvantage of a car, it is a consequense for operating it in a manner that you know is improper.

All the bad things that people say or post or see. My six year old cousin has a computer at her house, her parents havent bothered putting a filter on her computer. The bad thing is, when she is searching for things like pictures of rainbows, the link she clicks on sends her to porn sites. SHE IS FREAKIN' SIX looking for RAINBOWS! How i am forced to get on the internet for her and ger the information for her and help her search. Infact just recelty her parents asked me to put up a filter to filter the images that she should not see.
The problems with internet is that its so good, and so helpful. But it is misused like so many things. Whoever created the internet did nt inted people to post naked pictures on it. Then again the internet has been the center of illegal things, Such as the illegal download of movies and music that is FREE! I know that it is amazing when we find a song, music video or a movie that is free, but what is literally happending is stealing. The government cant take internet aways and cant charge internet with anything because its not a person. So they charge the person.
For now the good outweighs the bad, so they cant take it away.But i am very afraid that its changing very quickly

your privacy may divulge via the internet.some people do bad things via inernet is very easy but very difficult to catch
