It's all about ethics my friend. It's like testing experiments on animals before we test humans. Most scientists and the world believe that human life is more valuable than lower form animals (although considering some people, I think that's debatable.) Further, there are far fewer religious controversies over cloning animals. Some believe that we would be unable to clone humans because we can't clone or create a soul. Others believe that the first cloned human will be the Antichrist. The list goes on and on. It's an interesting topic though.

We always experiment on animals before we try things out on humans. If the experiment fails, we can just put the animal down. But if an experiment on a human fails, that person has to live with the consequences for the rest of their life.
I'm sure that cloning humans will be available soon. The ultimate ego-trip for a billionaire - you can have a child that is exactly the same as you, without having your genes diluted by mixing them with those of another parent.

If humans are cloned, we have to admit it would mean the destruction of the human race, the destruction of the world. Life would be completely messed up, it will never be like before. Even cloning animals is wrong and will destroy the earth's environmental balance and life cycle. in many ways.....

/currently, 95% of female animals implanted with cloned embryos die before or during the birthing process because the fetus grows too big for her body. This is one of a myriad of physical and ethical problems with cloning. Obviously, they can't start implanting cloned embryos into humans until they fix this significant problem, which hopefully will never come to pass.
Cloning is pretty scary business best left to Science Fiction.

Don't you think that this world has enough problems with making mach humans? How do we know that a clone won't go berserk and start killing people or something or even cause some sort of weird disease? Let's leave well enough alone. They are already cloning body parts. (Stem cell research)
