I made quick thing, since I was out of my regualar stuff, of salt and baby oil. I mixed the two together more salt than oil just enough to make an abrasive or scrub. It worked for my ashy legs... just rub on and rinse off but becarefull that your tub/shower will be slick. After showers and stuff, while still wet, I apply a layer of a good thick, body lotion from bath and body works and let that soak in before I get dressed.

There are a couple of things you could do: 1. U could use the lemon trick, it will lighten up your skin, but it will make it more sensitive, hence easily bruised. 2. U could try sliced potatos and rub them on your knees and elbows, the juice from the potato has a whitening agent, just leave it on you over night. 3. u should also use a body scrub at least once a week to remove all dead skin whiles in the bathroom. 4. Moisturise these areas at least twice a day, morning and evening. 5. The recommendation of cotton wool with glycerin and whatever it is, is also something i have heard off. You could alos mix and match any of the above.
