The filter was given to me, and i need to know how to use it. It is brand new, not with box. Or if one could e-mail me and tell me. I also need to know about replacing or cleaning the actual filtering parts. Hope this make sense.

All my filters are Fluval made via hagen I actually have a 405 and 5 Fx5s on particularly some tanks. in case you dont have large waste producing fish then something like a 305 that filters as much as 70 gallons could be adequate . in case you have fish that are large waste producing fish then i might decide for a 405 .
