Yes and no... Yes when the man is out of the country for a few weeks and I can avoid the headaches he gives me. Some times he is nice when I need a day off or something, that if it doesn't conflict with "his" time. No... when he is here the business doesn't run right. Housekeepers quit do to hearing him yell and complain.... Front desk up and leave so I am left holding the bag and he sleeps at night.. shall I keep going?

I actually don't have a boss - but wish I did. My company sends me out to client sites to do work, but no one at my company will admit to being my boss. At review time they all point at someone else and say THAT person will write your review not me because I am not your boss. In the end a total stranger wrote it without ever seeing me - we just talked on the phone.

Having a bad boss is the pits but having NO ONE who will take responsibility for your management functions is no picnic either.

My boss only allows employees to work part-time, we don't get paid unless a client is sitting in front of us. Therefor we can easily work an 11 hour day and only get paid for 4 or 5 hours when clients bother to show up for appointments. Yesterday only three clients showed up.

I just started a new job and the people here seem great so far. Going to work each day is a lot easier when you get along well with the people you spend so much of your life with!
