how do you know if you have a favourite character on a show?

you can identify with that character and you respond to the character ie you feel sorry for them if they are getting hassle and you are inspired to do things because of them.

when you watch the show throughout the entire series and by sticking with it,will you then be able to familiarise yourselves with the characters, situations, indeed the lot of the show. it is only then will you be able to pinpoint their character traits, their positives and negatives, particularly when it comes to being able to relate to and have sympathy for the characters and their emotions and feelings. whether it is a sitcom or drama per se, everyone of whom is a fan of the show ought to have or has had a favourite character or have favourite characters and have their reasons for liking or favouring that person
