I'm considering suing the met office for mental anguish. They promised lots of snow and all we've got is a couple of inches. I'm high up in the Yorkshire Pennines - it should be 10 feet deep by now and the only way out should be through a bedroom window.

What's more - it's STOPPED snowing, how dare it stop. And I've just gone and SWEPT my paths clear - I didn't even have to dig.

To all the other answerers - please post some of your snow to Wigan and Yorkshire.

The problem is, London and the south have snow - therefore it's a major news story. What has them all at a standstill,we in the frozen north-east consider a heavy frost.

Ha ha, we built a snowman, a second snow man, had a snowball fight, and the kids stayed home from school.

There's snow on the beach!

Poor kids, they should come down to Wales. Why don't you drive over? Roads closed because of snow I guess.

I'm in north Suffolk. It has snowed here, but there is none on the ground, it's just really wet. So in answer to your question; it's not just Wigan.

I'm in south Herts/North London and we still have thick snow although it is starting to melt slowly. My concern is the roads tonight when it all freezes over.
