Honestly part of it is the questions that happen to be here at that time, and of course emails from my best friend are my favorite thing about my afternoons. Usually in the past, afternoons have been really horrible for me, and anything that can make them go by quickly makes me happy :)

I love sitting under the peppercorn tree, sipping a late coffee, discussing what the remote world out there is doing to itself while we watch the hot afternoon sun dip below the horizon and paint the sky a myriad colours. The magpies settle noisily into their night tree down by the river, and we move leisurely into the house as the evening breeze wafts in from the lakes, and clears the hot daytime air out of the house. This is a summer afternoon in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. Care to join me?

I love quiet time to myself on the deck, playing video games, writing, reading, wasting time on the internet... Or on the weekends, I like to spend time with my family.
