Every day is a struggle for me to go to work even though I have a great job and a great boss who treats me like an equal. I know I have a problem that goes back to my school years when I struggled to go to school as well. If I make social plans I find myself finding excuses to cancel them. I just feel that I have no energy to live like i am suppose to.

You may be suffering from depression. It may be that you're just bored. You may have attention deficit disorder - this often leads people to be bored with their "great jobs". You might want to talk with a professional...aka your doctor.

It also sounds to me like you might be suffering from a bit of depression. Just remember - it's ok to feel this way sometimes, but if it persists and starts to effect you then definatley go talk with someone. See if you can get a referral to a couple of people that you can "try on" and pick which one works for you.
Try starting an exercise regime - this will boost your confidence and give you more energy :) Good Luck

It could be that you don't eat right and/or get enough exercise. Nutrition can play a big part in the way you feel. If you haven't seen the movie Super Size Me, I'd recommend watching it. It definitely changed the way I think about food!

See buddy,
you are becoming pessimistic in your nature...
you feel like canceling everything and rest alone....
just because you are on the way of breaking down...
have you heard about breaking down a horse? people just make the horses to obey them in every way.... I think you are feeling the same... you are becoming a breaking horse...

What you need? You need to have a friend who can give you good suggestions at times... and help you miixing in crowd and share your thoughts live, face to face....

its a symptom of depression. whether you feel depressed or not...lack of motivation and lack of truly caring.

im smart as hell...my friends in school knew it and were jealous. yet, they all made better grades. just because i couldnt do the work. no matter how prepared i made myself to sit on my bed and try. and its hard to explain that im not lazy. i just...cant. i cant clean my room. i skip work for no reason. really, no reason because i work the same shift with my mom who i live with.

i dont exert much, yet i constantly have no energy. always able to sleep and sleep in. my friends wanna play soccer. not me. wanna go see a movie. i pass.

only one of two things-i believe-can help you/me. either medicine. or really pushing to try to change. but, either way its going to require effort and its going to be hard.

good luck.
