Because Blake is older and the crime was not as gruesome as the O.J. Simpson case was. Plus there were two murders in O.J.'s case. Robert Blake was not as big as O.J. was, he hadn't worked in years. O.J. was a loved athlete and had done some recent work on films and TV.

I'm not white or black so I really don't have a dog in this hunt. But I do remember when that murderer OJ got off and all over the TV you could watch black people dancing in the streets and cheering for OJ just because he was black and they were happy that he got away with killing some white people. That's when I first realized that maybe we're really not equal.

Because the vast majority of people believe that OJ Simpson was guilty, and that the jury just dropped the ball. With Blake, there was actually some doubt as to whether he killed his wife. Before she married him, she made a living conning men out of money - there were other people that may have wanted to kill her.

Because Robert Blake was abused by his wife, and OJ is an arrogant, jealous, killer. He is so arrogant that he made a book about the murders and laughs that he got away with it. That's why.

Robert Blake's wife was an opportunist who purposely got pregnant to trap a "star" and then used the baby for leverage. I'm not staying murder is ever right but Nicole and Ron were seen as not deserving the horrible deaths they suffered.

Maybe it is became we needed a low life to get away with murder so we can call it even. OJ was only released because he was a black man in a world where he was oppressed. Just look at the way he had to live his life poor man.
