I work in a retirement facility, and have been pondering the thought of starting a Red Hat Society for the residents. I am not sure how I go about starting one and what tips do you have to help me out? Do I need to register somewhere or can I just start a group independently? Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!

This webpage has useful guidance about setting up a new chapter of the Red Hat Society, and by an incredible co-incidence it just happens to be on the Red Hat Society website! Who'd have thought it? Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction...
