Telling her without speaking? Tough to do. Best way is not to lead her in the direction she might think otherwise. Calling often, hanging out alone often. When she wants togo out somewhere mention it would be fun to include several others and go as a group. Other than that...?

Get into a conversation about how much you like her as a friend. Be point blank about it. And just don't get her hopes up in any way.
