This is a biology lab question. I know that the more events that happens the lesser the probability. So,,, is there not a way to increase? Or is the increase just hoping you are lucky? Thanks in advance.

The addition rule in probability is based on the word "or." If you can succeed this way OR that way OR still another way, then all those probabilities add up if the events are independent, so arranging more paths to success increases your chances of success.
