I like what Dave letterman said about just finding a car that get's 900 miles to a tank of gas.
I have been in a hurry to get somewhere long distance and done the diaper thing.
Some U.S. Senators have been known to do the same during a fillibuster.
Sure the stalking thing is bizarre, but what I find is shocking is that she had a bb gun!
So admit it, we're all friend here.

I never even heard of it until the news report. I have pulled over and gone in the woods before but I have never been in such a hurry that i wouldn't stop to actually go to the bathroom. Everything she did was pretty bazaar and to think we paid her to go into space....

The diapers are really going to work against her at her trial. It will show that she was hell bound to get to the other woman and hurt or kill her. It will definitely be premeditation. She gives new meaning to the term "space cadet".

Unless one has a medical problem, I don't think anyone should be in such a hurry that they can't stop and use the facilities.

Maybe because it's not what the "normal" cross-country traveler wears.
We do something really novel and relieve our bladders at a rest-stop.

i have never done it, and i think it would have to be a dire situation for me go to that length. but in her case she is a astronaut, they are used to such things on a "regular" basis.
