She is unsure on what to name them though! She doesn't want anything TOO wierd and wonderful, but not too normal either. She already has two sons, Jacob and Hayden and a daughter, Ebony. She is having two girls and they are identical if that helps!

Please consider my advice: I am an identical twin & I hate seeing twins name's that begin with the same letter. It's soooo hokey & lame! The kids will not think it's cute. Twins want to feel independent & different from one another at some point (my sister & I really started pushing away at age 10). Giving them almost the same name or fairly similar names will only make them feel less of an individual & it will be more difficult for other people to accept & treat them as individuals. Please tell your sister this as many people make this mistake!

My identical twin girls are called Caitlin Elizabeith and Lucy Louise. My b/f wanted to call them Caitlin and Courtney but I said NOOOO. I'm so glad I didn't because Lucy really suits her name. I would avoid giving them names starting with the same letter. If I would have had boys I was going to call them Alex and Zack. I liked the idea of the first letters being the beginning and the end of the alphabet, kind of reminds me of bookends! Maybe she could do that with her girls

Amy & Zoe (both short and the same amount of letters!)

It is tempting to name them something matchy-matchy, but I agree I would stay away from that. Something you could do is mix up the First Initial and Middle Initial on the girls. Example

Gracie Michele and Molly Gail

Call them Gracie and Molly...totally different but the Michele and Gail kind of rhyme plus one has the initials G.M. the other has M.G.

I had friend boy twins whose names were Gary Lynn and Larry Glen...they called them Gary and Larry...pretty clever, but really not something I'd do.

Tell your sister good luck!

I have twin boys called Travis and Connor I didn't want there names to match - just think of the girls when they are older "hope and faith come here please" - no - no -no I would recommend just look through a book and line up a list of names you like and don't worry about them matching they are still 2 individual people.
Or if you really insist
Bow and Bella
Abbie and Gayle
Emma and Gemma
Libby and Biddy
god i am really bad at this good job i have boys

Tell your sister to NOT NOT NOT NOT give them rhyming names. Twins, DO NOT think thats funny or amusing and will hate her when they get older.

Twins run in my family and other than grandpa chester and his brother lester, they have all been given different names.

I like the following; Mirabell, Silvia, Sophia, Bianca, Brooke, Bellany, Emma, Kathryn is a good one, Ruth, Elena, Georgia, Sandy and Audrey.
