I saw a question: what is the best university in ... , but I first read universe instead of university, which is much more interesting. So do you think there are (parallel?) universes, are they better or worse than ours? Also: is our universe bended in a 4th (or more?) dimension and therefore finite in size yet infinite?

A universe forms when quantum energy
tries to stand still, and thus explodes.

Does this require all energy to come to
a standstill?

If it does, then the "Big Bang" only
produces one Universe.
If it doesn't, then there could be multiple
universes.

It's anybody's guess.

As far as being better: today scientists
have proven that "black hole" energy
reshapes into what it was before it
collapsed. (New Scientist - 2003 or 4)

It could be that the impressions we put
onto "quarks" today, somehow shape our
tomorrow.

The best universe would be the perfect one next door. But it wouldn't do us any good, because the minute we moved there, it wouldn't exist anymore.

Well, Leibniz thought we lived in the best possible one, but without reference to others, how can we answer differently?
