What do you mean no opportunity for college. Nearly anyone can go to college who wishes too. You might check into that with grants and such it doesnt cost as much as you might think.

I'm in the USA and lots of people here who have a hearing loss go to college. I'm one of them, I'm 90% deaf and I went to college and I have an Associate degree for Administrative Assistant.

Look into heating assistance and housing assistance in your area, you should be able to find info online. Your Workforce Development Center would probably be able to steer you in the right direction if you live in the USA, not only to help you find a job, but also lead you in the right direction where to get benefits like food stamps, medicaid insurance, heating and housing assistance.

Also, If you're independent and trying to save up money, try clipping coupons and watching prices for sale ads to get the best price on everyday needs like food and hygiene stuff. Do rebates from Walgreens. It takes a lot of time and work but it is worth it and will save you a lot of money. Also if you have a local food pantry or salvation army take advantage of the free food there.

I think you are hiding behind your loss... I am 45% and 50 % in my ears and I have an accounting degree and work as an assistant general manager for a hotel. I am back in school for a hospitality degree.

There is something out there you need to need to make yourself believe in yourself...There are plenty of scholorships out there and grants. Find one and fill out the forms. Do what you like to do? If you want to make a difference volunteer or work for something that you are passionate about.

Good luck.

You just need to find the job that you'd love to do. It's important to love your work. For instances; an architect doesn't have to be able to hear. An artist, a designer, an inventor, someone who works on intricate things, who figures out why things work. There are thousands of jobs you can do.
Please, don't under estimate yourself. You just need to find the job you want to do. Once you find it; there will be no stopping you.
Good luck.
