i had the depo with my other two kids and the same thing happened but it stoped when i took bcontrol pills.

hormones are funny things and it sounds like you've been through the ringer with this issue (2 docs and still no resolve)

have you considered stopping the depo all together and switching to a totally new kind of birth control? try using a pill that is not similar to the depo might help.

once you have a baby, your body is never the same-hormones included and if you are breastfeeding-this will alter your hormone levels as well.

as much as you may not want to hear this, i would switch doctor's again but this time try to find one that specializes in hormonal imbalances so maybe they can get to the root of your problem. constant bleeding, no matter how minor has to be frustrating for you and hard on your body too!! dealing with that and having to take care of a little one is taxing work.

i had my tubes tied in 2003 after my 3rd baby and my cycle was never the same-i had heavy bleeding and it lasted for weeks at a time-tried the pill to regulate it and it didnt help. i ended up having surgery to stop my periods for good which could be an option for you if you don't want any more children (i have 3-that's enough lol!!)

good luck to you!!

i was put on the pill 6 mts ago and bled off and on ever since. i freakin would spot at any time and would have a almost period and then the real thing. very frustrating. get off the birth control!
give your body a break from hormones. that is what i decided to do.
i should be starting a new pack of pills today and i will not.
this bleeding this is our bodies way of rejecting the hormones!

My cousin had a baby in June and went through the exact same thing. She was bleeding about a month after she had her baby. Finally, after 7 months, the doctors told her she needed a D&C, and she has been fine after that.

Hope this helps.
