Last year I had 10 quid to please my partner with, and I managed to do it well. The best present is one that comes from the heart. I went out and got a teddy bear, a single rose, and a card. The clencher was what was inside the card. I thought for a while of how I really felt. I wrote typed this up and then placed it inside the card. That made all the difference. And as you will have some money left over. Why not then go and and buy some food from Tescos or such, and prepare a meal. The effort placed in preparing the meal will go down a charm. All in all it will prove to be a success. You dont have to be perfect with words to write a poem or a piece of writing.

The real joy will be knowing that it came from you and shows your true feelings. And with this gift you are being more sensitive and caring by producing things yourself. |We all like gifts, but money cant buy you love. It would be great if you chose this to let me know how it went. Good Luck

Well, my policy has always been to give something thoughtful, even if its not "romantic". This year, im giving my boyfriend a heated blanket because he has this piss poor sheet for a blanket and hes ALWAYS cold.

Doesnt sound romantic, but its really thoughtful, and proves that i know him.

Buying for a man is tricky. Its like that hallmark commercial where the guy gets some singing tiger, and even in the commercial he looks like he hates it.

Its like that. Cheesy gross romantic **** doesnt play well most of the time.

I suppose, should the two of you be intimate, a good gift would be to buy yourself some nice lingerie (which can be cheaper if you go to the right place, and suprise him with it when you get somewhere private.

Otherwise, go to here:

www.gift.com and search for a gift depending on his personality.
Helped me shop for my brother this past X-mas.

Good luck!!

The power shared one of my standby ideas, but you can go beyond the sweets and stuffed animals and single rose.
If you like, include those, but use the remaining money to buy him something that he wanted for Christmas or a birthday, and you will have a spot on hit.
