The pictures i have obtained from the web are too "Pixcalated" which means they do not show a clear image when placed on the site.
The site is for children which live in a deprived area of South Wales in the UK and will be used during their holidays.
Any help will be great.

Go to Yahoo or Googles main page, there's an image link near the search bar, click on this and then enter into the search bar what pictures you'd like. It pays to be specific, depending on what mythology pictures your after, eg. mythology,
mythology gods, mythical creatures, this can sometimes help.

In the results click on a picture and it takes you to a new page, one with a horizontal line through it. up top of the page click on view image and it shows you the image in it's true size, some images are very small while others are very large. Sometimes the website may be down and you wont be able to get a picture, but in most cases you can.

When you get here right click on the mouse and go to save picture as.. you save it to your computer and then you can use it on your website, however some sites have right click protection on their pictures, others advise you to request permission to place them on your own site.

Yahoo and Google are the best, you might find something, if not much on www.altavista.com though

I do this a lot, I dont have a website but i download tons of pictures that i like just so i dont have to visit the website again.

I really dont know of any web sites with pics of what you want , but on typing "mythology" on yahoo ( selecting the image option) I came up with this link ....hope it helps you ... bear in mind alot of people who upload photos or diagrams etc. will most likely submit a small file size , so viewing them fullscreem will probably pixellate them ...anyways heres the link
