Animation Industry has vast potential in India as long as you have some artistic qualities and you are ready to work long hours with dedication. Now a days many U.S.Studios are outsourcing animation projects to Indian Companies. Animation Studios are mostly situated in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai. If you need to know more then visit some animation sites, Have some basic knowledge in Drawing and then go for an extensive course which gives you an oppurtunity to work as an apprentice in any animation studio in India or Abroad. Also do not go for big Names in Animation Training Institutes, just check out the details of the faculty who is teaching there, he/she should be an animator by profession and not just academically qualified without any experience in Animation Studio. So the imp. point is check out the teachers credentials and not the institute's. All the best.

Animation industry will grow rapidly in India within a few years. Within 5 years it will be at least UDS40 to 50 billion industry. Now Chennai and other cities are earning good foreign exchange of this industry.

my friend manish has joined animation studio.
now he has cut down all his intrest in life other than movies.
total focus.
total dedication
that is must.
and you have to work for some one.
it is always a team work.. no freedom- only dead lines!!
