Seriously, they yap on and on about crap that isn't even interesting. It's like they talk to keep their brain from going dead. While men communicate much more effeciently.

I read in a newspaper a few months ago that had an article about men not listening to women. It was suggested that it wasn't actually the man's fault; according to the article, women talk at a vocal frequency that men find hard to decipher about what is being said. Now many would argue that men have selective hearing, with only the words 'sex' and 'now' to grab our instant attention, but there could be something in this.
So to your question, why woman speak so much? Well it would seem they have to because mother nature did a botch job on our ear frequencies not being in tune with one another.
Just a theory...

Women have evolved to use language more easily than men over thousands of years because they were originally responsible for bringing up children and communicating with them. Females learn to speak at a younger age than males therefore. They have a natural propensity for using language and are more sensitive emotionally and want to communicate. Men are more spatially aware as they evolved as hunters and had to be aware of their place in the landscape, be active and strong and bring home the food. Both these male and female differences are small advantages/disadvantages and can be overcome by learning and practice and by cultural change.

Because women need to share her feelings and what's in her mind.. When nobody seem to care, they speak more.. It's just the basic need of a woman.. To be heard..

We have to for men don't listen to the first seven demands... hopefully by #8 and a smack upside the head they finally pay attention.
If men would listen right away woman would be able to take a breather.
Like the saying goes : If you first don't succeed then perhaps you should try doing it the way your wife told you to !
