modernisation is actual the return of a very ancient way of life, its a changing over from good ideas to evil ideas, polish up the bad idea and make it look good, defame the good idea and make it look bad.truth is denied lies and liers are king. The christians will soon be imprisoned or fined for disobeying the sodomites, because the law is trying to make it so, innocent defenders of property are being treated worse than robbers and vandals, the new world order will be based on evil old britain was based on good but our good teachings have been abandoned over the years and the people are lost. the politicians intend to keep them that way. we are at war with politicians, we need military take over to end these evil swines that have brought back an ancient evil that has been buried for years.

It means the Government wants to change things, so it describes anyone who doesn't agree with it as living in a place called the past. Change should be be slow, considered, incremental, evolutionary, and not hurried, radical, revolutionary or following a pre-set left wing totalitarian agenda. It should recognise centuries of tradition, precepts and tried and tested things from the past. It should respect our history, religion, laws and culture. It should be of the people, accountable to the people, not top down, unaccountable, totalitarian and treating citizens as pawns in the all powerful state machine.
There actually is no such thing as political modernisation, it is one of those meaningless new labour buzz words, which is intended to emit more heat than light. It tries to sell the idea that we have all fallen behind. But, I ask, behind what? It isn't a fashion parade of the latest whizz bang ideas pumped out by left wing academics. It throws up a convenient smoke screen whilst the government gets on and makes revolutionary changes without having obtained a mandate to do so.

False. China has no history of what we in the west would consider democratic freedom. They were ruled by Emperor's for centuries, now it's Communist Dictator's. They tried in the late 80's and were ruthlessly crushed by the government. They've never dared tried again. And the stronger and more modern their military becomes the more nerveous the world should be. They will continue to crack down hard on their own people and then take their neighbours out by brute force. As American power declines so China's power rises. Anyway, that's the way I see it.

Well in recent cases, Labour to New Labour and whatever it is Cameron is trying to turn the Conservatives into, political modernisation is changing the party into whatever you think it is that will make the public vote for you! In Labours case it was mostly kicking out everything socialist and everything one associated with the Labour Party and in the Tories case it's mostly kicking out anti socialist sentiment and everything one associates with the Conservatives.
