Stationery shops (e.g. Rymans) will give you their empty boxes, you just have to ask when they are next due to get a delivery and ask them to keep the boxes for you. They will usually save them until the end of the day for you. Also, your local supermarket will do the same. If you want smaller boxes, ask the shoe shop, or your local copy shop for photocopier paper boxes.
If you are running an ebay business, remember that you can charge the cost of P&P, so you could buy new boxes from the post office, or a stationery supplier such as Viking, or Next Day.

You can use shoe boxes if you have any of those? Otherwise you could try self storage places as they sell boxes - although they may be expensive. If you work in an office you could use A4 paper boxes - they are quite a useful size. I recycle boxes that I have things delivered in at home and sometimes cut them up and use the right shape/size that I need. If you need to buy packaging you need to remember to include extra money on your listing price or postage price.

My husband works in B & Q and brings loads home for us. Why don't you go to your local B & Q and ask them - they'd probably be glad to give you some. Shoe shops might have some boxes, or be willing to save some for you!

Try local restaurants, they usually get deliveries a couple times a week and the foods are boxed. Try your local liqueur store, they have lots of boxes.
