What is a good cost estimate of how much private plane lessons are? Thanks!?

I have heard $2,000, but that seems a bit cheap to me...

It has been a few years back, but a teacher I was talking to, said about $80 an hour with an average of 50 hours + or - to get the private solo. Hope this helps.
