Yes!! Loved what's the time Mr. Wolf? I used to get sooo scared every the wolf turned round to tell us!

Not very polite, but we were kids, spitting cannons! Stand in a line and See who could spit the furthest!

The one where someone hides their eyes up against a wall and would call out umbrella or giant step, pigeon step to different players to see who would get to the wall first.

Twenty Fives...like hide n'seek but they counted for twenty five seconds before they came and looked for you and you'd have to try to get back to base without being caught.

Tag, a chase game where when you catch a person they tag onto you and become and catcher.

Finally, stuck in the mud, if you were caught yo u had to stand still and wait to be freed.

Those were the days!

Used to play 'two-balls' - a kind of juggling against a wall, which we did to rhymes, which was fun.

But my favourite was 'stuck in the mud' which was a bit like touch on it, but you had to stand still when you were touched and wait for someone who hadn't been touched to run through your legs to free you. Very odd!!!

Bulldog was good, and 'What's the time, Mr Wolf too! There was also a game we played where one person stood with their arm against the wall and the rest of us would hold hands in a line. Then we'd sing a song called 'The big ship sails on the alley alley oh' and weave through the gap between the person's arm and the wall until we were all tied in a knot! It was so much fun, but it seems completely ridiculous now!

good question.!mine was '' eagle trying to catch the chicks''.i used to play it in kindergarten and elementary school.it was fun.
somebody acts as the eagle. then you have a line of maybe 8 to 10 pple, as the CHICKS( depends on how many ppls you have) holding each othr back to back in line.the first person in line is the MOTHER HEN.And it starts wih the EAGLE trying to catch the CHICKS. MOTHER HEN has to try to protect the CHICKS from being touched by the EAGLE.Once an EAGLE touches a CHICK, the person is out from the game. The MOTHER HEN and the team of CHICKS IN LINE is constanly moving left and right or circles to try not to get captured by the Eagle.

My favourite game to play at school ? Ooohh ! Good question !mine was '' police vs thieves''... I used to play it in elementary school... It was so fun.
Two team "police" and "thieves". Each team is given a colour. "Police" try to catch the "thieves" and "thieves" try to catch "police". The first "thieves" to be touch become a "police" and the same for "police" until all "thieves" become "police". Everyone is constantly moving left and right or circles to try not to get captured by the others.

fox and hounds, practically sames as hide n seek except you played in teams and if one of your team got caught you had to try and free them. Played it for hours

Just brought back a few happy memories thanks for that!
