Like the astronaut who drove 900 miles to assault another woman who was seeing her former boyfriend. Or Lorena Bobbitt. Or Bernadine from "Waiting To Exhale"? I hope "love" never has that effect on me!

Part of the problem is having sexual intercourse with someone. For women, we produce a hormone called oxytocin when we have intercourse... this is nature's trick that bonds us to our partner. The big key is to hold off on having sex... it really is the key ingredient. Guaranteed if that astronaut didn't sleep with her lover, she wouldn't have gone bonkers. Oxytocin is to blame.

Well it really goes to having a brain in the first place.
I'm sure she was smart after the millions of dollars that our government put into her training but there should have been a more stringent psychological testing.
Now we will spend more millions keeping her in jail to protect what...another astronauty from being assaulted.
I think I just coined a word
Astronaughty

Some people do not mix well with drinking...they function properly in society until you add liquid stupid.
The same with Love I would imagine.

You know that brings up another good Q though about sending all our best people and technology into space when there's so much we don't know about our own planet and it's upkeep

Kinda begs to speculate on the brains that are running the whole mess!

Those are just negative reactions to their thinking patterns. To love is not to control. Those women were trying to control the path of life.
The love that is mutual is a grand thing. It makes you breath differently, see life in a new way, songs you have heard all along carry a new meaning and sometimes you can tolerate the people you once couldn't as now you have something to buffer your heart, it no longer matters because someone loves you.

Rule of Nature controls mind. Mind controls Rule of Nature. Like a dog chasing it's tail. What's the difference(behaviorally) between a animal going into heat and a thirty year old woman fixated on having a baby? Rule of nature.
Stop chasing your tails.

I wish my ex was like that. She said that nothing mattered in the world she would have done anything for me. Now I've been begging her to love me for weeks, been the sweetest guy ever. I don't understand how being friends with my other ex has caused this or how telling my other ex that she has ruined my life and never want to talk to her again doesn't make the girl I want to be with love me again?!?!?

Love releases chemicals within the brain you have no control over...you can try, but the feeling takes over, you are just carried away in one full swoop.
