Yes, it still exists, as kind of headless, brainless, and frequently toothless version of itself.
See for most of the 1950s and 1960s, the FBI and state law enforcement agencies worked diligently to identify the leaders of the organization, and nab them when they did anything evil and/or illegal. In this way, they quietly lobotomized the Klan, leaving it leaderless and dismembered.
But it does still exist. Local klavens (meetings) still take place throughout the nation. Guys in white hoods still promise to be true to their "white race."
Normal? Noooooo. Not normal, as in, "I think I'll wear my hood to the office today." Definitely not normal. Hatred at that level is not normal.
Understandable? Perhaps.
While originally formed as a vigilante group to bring order to occupied areas of the South, where home rule was in abeyance following the War of Northern Aggression, the Klan evolved into a White Supremacy group. But thanks to the efforts of the FBI, today it is more of a White Equality group with yellow fangs, and most of the membership these days comprising white people who are from the lowest rungs on the socio-economic ladder.
These poor boobs are lashing out because, gosh darn it, THEY want entitlement programs and affirmative action, too.
Sad really.

Yes, the KKK still exists. It is definetly not normal. Those people are closed minded individuals. They have rallys all over the US and usually get shut down because of violence but because of certain laws, the government has to let them go on with the rallys until violence breaks out. I dont think they go about things the way they used to, they are more subtle about it but its still the same. I dont know any personally but I lived in an area where the Leader lived in Indiana.

It is more commonly known as the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan these days, and instead of wearing the white robes with the hoods, they tend to dress in fatigues, like you would see a military soldier wear.
There was a documentary on them a few weeks ago here, where basically, with some of the lax rules now, almost anyone could join as long as you were not black; meaning because of the rules, in a few years, even full Jewish people could join.

I found it a little funny how the leader did not even know the rules for full membership, when a half-Jewish person was pretending to try and join.

They have their right to protest just like anyone else, but usually the number protesting them far outstrips their numbers. They're pretty irrelevant nowadays. Usually just a bunch of people mad because they have a superiority complex and believe they should have everything without trying.

Yeah, the KKK stil exist today; however there are only about a few thousand members which are scattered throughout different groups.

I think it's normal, I'm not a racist by any means but looking at it you'll always get people with their own opinions, the extremists, and so on.

The "Klan" exists in the minds of rednecks who are proud to try and carry out their "Pappy's Tradition" They're usually ignored by the authorities, but need to be put in line on occasion.

Hatred is never normal.

The KKK was created by a man called Pike who was very high in the American Masons Society. He had awful things to say about our dark skinned brothers and sisters.

Note the references to Satan/Lucifer in his comments.

Directed to the 23 Supreme Councils of the Illuminati 4 June 1889:

"To you, Sovereign Instructors of Grade 33, we tell you: you have to repeat to the brothers of inferior grades that we worship only one God to whom we pray without superstition. It is we, Initiated in the Supreme Grade, that are to keep the real Masonic religion preserving pure the Lucifer doctrine"- Albert Pike - (Illuminati, founder of the KY Klux Klan)

We shall unleash the Nihilists and Atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effects of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will be from that moment without compass, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view, a manifestation which will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time. - Illustrious Albert Pike 33°

I took my obligation to White men, not to Negroes. When I have to accept Negroes as brothers or leave Masonry, I shall leave it. - Illustrious Albert Pike 33° - History and Evolution of Freemasonry, page 329 -

Fictions are necessary to the people, and the Truth becomes deadly to those who are not strong enough to contemplate it in all its brilliance. In fact, what can there be in common between the vile multitude and sublime wisdom? The truth must be kept secret, and the masses need a teaching proportioned to their imperfect reason. - - Illustrious Albert Pike 33°
Sovereign Grand Commander
Mother Supreme Council of the World
THE SUPREME COUNCIL of the Thirty Third and Last Degree
Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry
Morals and Dogma, page 103 -

As owner-publisher of the Memphis, Tennessee, Daily Appeal, Albert Pike wrote in an editorial on April 16, 1868: "With Negroes for witnesses and jurors, the administration of justice becomes a blasphemous mockery. A Loyal League of Negroes can cause any white man to be arrested, and can prove any charges it chooses to have made against him. ...The disenfranchised people of the South ... can find no protection for property, liberty or life, except in secret association.... We would unite every white man in the South, who is opposed to ***** suffrage, into one great Order of Southern Brotherhood, with an organization complete, active, vigorous, in which a few should execute the concentrated will of all, and whose very existence should be concealed from all but its members." - Albert Pike on KKK -

Yes this heinous group is still very much alive. Now, however, they are also very involved with the skinhead hatred movement. Next look up the Illuminati who we all know about and you have a good idea of the ilk of humanity who seek to control our lives.

It still exists. But I'm not sure what you mean by normal? You mean good for the nation, or the economy? Do you mean that it's members are the brightest light bulbs in the chandelier? Then if that's what you mean. No, it isn't "normal".

Prejudice is a normal human condition though, expressed every bit as much from blacks to whites as from whites to blacks.

HUH??? The only ones who would think that the KKK is "normal", would be the KKK.
