ok my grandmothers turning 60 she has plenty of money-cant eat chocolates and is very fussy with clothes and she's more than likely going to get a million bunches of flowers. She's pretty young in her ways, any ideas as what i can get her for her birthday???

how about a "gift certificate" of your time. A promise to have tea with her when she calls. Or an offer of your time is chores that might not be easy for her to do... help sorting a closet or even cleaning the bathtub... these things cost next to nothing but can mean the most!!

well I would try something like this, first if you want to buy something a really touching sentiment is a locket with a picture of you in it, and tell her it's so you'll always be near her heart, and then make dinner and server it to her candle light style, just you and her, very personal and sweet but not some over commercialized thing either.

dont buy any thing coz she has everything, on her bday , cook the very nice soft plain rice and a soft chicken or beef curry , then u eat with her plus cook vegetable suited cabbage , and steam fish mush be soft without bone , and a corn n mushroom soup , then get the fresh banana for her then make a milk papaya for juice , yummmyyyyyyyyy

get her a coupon for movies and a coupon for a dinner or 2

that way she can go out with someone and have dinner and a movie
they are nice when you just don't know what to do and she can use it as she pleases

i think you should buy her stage show or theatre show passes ,a nice dinner in a funky resturant,my gift to my grandma was a photo when she was in her young days i had it done in a very mordern frame ,she loved it .
