The Lochness monster is real (actually, its a species of intelligent reptile, not one sole "monster").
The reason there is no proof is because the Nessies destroy all conclusive evidence. They don't want any trouble with people, like they had 1000 years ago when they were known as "dragons".

When i was a kid i thought it was real, but if it was they would have found it by now. From what hoax pictures i've seen of them depicting the loch ness monster, it looks like some prehistoric ocean dinosaur, and the only real dinosaurs that exist these days are crocs and gators.
I mean, say it was real, there would have had to have been 2 before it, a mummy and a daddy, and i'm sure as hell they wouldn't have been able to slip under the radar.

The only publicly known proof of the existance of the loch ness monster are the hundreds of eye witness accounts. Men have been convocted of crimes with less evidence. Using that train of logic the creature MUST exist.

There is no hard evidence that the Lochness monster exist. Witnesses' accounts indicate that they have seen what they thought was a long neck creature, but a recent sonar sweep yielded no proof of the existance of Nessy.

Roy ... No, there is no proof. But many people continue to believe there is an unknown, ancient animal of some kind lurking in the Loch. I am doubtful, but I wish them luck with their search. See my link below for more info.

You need to research that. Some scientists say there is and some have proven those scientists wrong. So, just like Big Foot. It's a matter of research and all the proof you can get. I don't think he is real. Maybe try to find Discovery channel's website and start there.

With all of todays technology and science and considering all the oceans wildlife that is descovered, documented and filmed i see no reason that if ther loch ness monster existed why humans would have not descovoured it yet and done the same.
