You can go to your bank and do a wire transfer, which is also known as Telegraphic Transfer (TT). There will be a nominal charges (around USD 30.00) for the wire transfer. Before you go to the bank for the transfer, you will required the following from the receipient:
1) Company name of the receipient
2) Full style address of the receipient company
3) Full style address of the bank for the receipient company.

Please also note that when you do the wire transfer, there will also be a charge at the receipient end. Therefore, you will need to indicate if you want to bear the cost, or the receipient will bear the cost. If you intend to bear the cost for the receipient, please note that you need to wire transfer a total of $10,000 + $30 (yours) + $xx (receipient)

Normally, wire transfer will take one working day to transfer the monies.

You could do a wire transfer for a fee. You would need wiring instructions from the recipient. Also, if you have a few days to get the money there, you might be able to do an on-line bill payment. Also, a lot of mortgage companies take payments over the phone. I'm not sure about this either since you have a US bank and a Canadian mortgage company. You'll have to call them and ask.

yes you would do an international wire transfer. This would have to be initiated from one of the Personal Bankers desk's in bank of america. Be prepared to have the destination bank's routing number, and international routing numbers as well. You will need to supply your exact name and address as they are on that account as well (in case there are any differences or discrepancies) Lastly be prepared to fill out financial paperwork and be asked personal questions to ensure that the money is not being wired out to fund terrorism. Leave about 2 hours worth of time to complete the process and call your local branch ahead of time to make sure that you know of all of the documentation and id that you need to bring with you. (you will need at least two forms of i.d. to wire out that amount of money)
