I loved Montana and Young as a kid, but now I have to say Brady. He is simply a smarter QB the Manning and doesnt nearly have the team the Peyton has always had. One of the biggest arguments against Peyton was the fact that he had this tremendous team and still never took it to the superbowl.

Peyton Manning. The Colts were a losing team until he took over, then they went 13-3, now they are World Champs. And Peyton has better all around skills than any QB I've ever seen.
Then there is Sid Luckman of Chicago in the 1940's. He posted quarterback ratings of over 120% and sometimes 140% better than his competition. No QB since has bested him.

Favorite QB has to be Joe Willie Namath. Come on the man was like a rock star on the football field. I was to young to see him in his prime, but as a kid everyone knew who he was, weather or not they even watched football. Not only that this is the man who single hand idly saved the super bowl. AFL owners had decided that they were no longer going to go up against the NFL, because of the annual poundings the senior league handed out in the first two super bowls. Then Joe made his guarantee, the Jets go on to win, and football fans have a national holiday. Namath was, and will always be the only real Joe Cool.

Depends on what you want. Needle threading accuracy, go Peyton Manning although many have that.
For an exiting scramble, Vince Young, although many other can do that.
For an exiting scramble behind the line so he can buy receivers time, McNabb, although many can do that.
For a big comeback with less than 2 minutes and no time outs, Tom Brady, although many can do that.
I assume by the way you phrased your question you mean actives only (as of today, Favre fans, one could argue Warner in 1999 as easily as Favre in 1996.)

'Joe Cool' 4 Superbowl rings in 4 games 3 MVPs, highest super bowl QB rating, NEVER intercepted in 122 attempts in his 4 super bowls, led teams to conference championship game in the AFC and the NFC, made the 49ers the winningest team in football for the years he played there, generally regarded by most analysts and many well respected players as the best ever...engineered blowouts over two supposedly high powered teams quarterbacked by Marino and Elway...not overly big or strong he was a master of reading defenses and making adjustments to find open receivers...still holds an impressive number of passing records

Hmm..a couple of them. For bias (since I'm a Giants fan), Phil Simms because he's still the best QB in Giants history.
Outside of the Giants...
1) Brett Favre, for his physical and mental toughness and his love for the game
2) Peyton Manning, for his practice makes perfect mentality and perseverance through adversity
3) Vince Young, for pure excitement and the ability to lead his team

Best ever, has to be Montana; he did it all... and he consistently won when it counted. Number 2 might likely end up being either Payton or Brady depending on how the rest of their careers go and the kind of numbers and championships each one of them eventually ends up with...

would have to say Brett Farve, he has had more consecutive starts, has taken some of the biggest hits and pops right back to trash talk the defense. He is talented, tough, and a great leader, and most of all he has fun out there.

Brett Favre. This guy is tough, and gritty. He plays hurt and still produces. He's never missed a start in his career. The guy is a winner and a first ballot HOF'er.
FAVRE IS THE MAN!
