No. The ADSL modem is designed to interface with the specific ADSL signal that is broadcast on the telephone line. It does not contain the circuitry to handle telephone calls.

Simply connect the FAX/Modem that is a part of your computer, through the DSL filter to dial-up when the DSL service has been interrupted.
