First, it depends on which isp you're using to send the message. Yahoo, for instance, requires that you set up the mobile phone first (i.e. enter in information such as phone number, phone make/model, etc.), then they have a "send message to mobile" button both on their messenger program and on their email front page. This is pretty standard and should only vary a little from isp to isp. If you're not sure how to set up the mobile message option, just find a button on your email home page or on your messenger main page that reads "mobile settings" (or something similar) and that link should walk you through the process and also provide some help files if needed.

As for cost, yes, it is free to send mobile messages from Yahoo, but I'm not sure of other providers. However, though it is free to send from Yahoo, your phone service provider might be a different story. Some mobile phone providers charge per message received, so make sure you double check with your phone service carrier.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

you need to have this program 'Chikka'. It is free of cost, but it depends entirely on your internet provider.
