Been walking up stairs in a building with someone behind you and you take several steps at a time and a little *parp* sneaks out from your rear end.
How embarassed were you? and were you embarassed even more if you were female?

As an addendum I get really embarassed at first then I have to find somewhere out of the way to have a good giggle.

No but a few weeks ago we were in church, and came back from communion, kneeled down and the woman directly in front of us,sneezed and let out the loudest fart I ever heard.
My 17 year old daughter and I laughed so hard we had to LEAVE! We got outside and busted out laughing even more.

No, but I once had to pass wind and in a crowded place and it felt like it would be just a little one, but it was so loud and of course right at that time the room feel quiet so everyone heard. I laughed, it was so funny, what else could I do??

No. And I would be embarrassed if I only let out a tiny little parp. If you're going to fart, then FART! Let them have it full whack in the kisser - a good thundering anal screech, or not at all.

Yes,I do it deliberately on escalators,when I know I've got a captive audience.
The escalator at London Kings Cross station is great,because it's so long,by the time you reach the top,everyone behind you is green.

I normally try to get a silent one out on purpose when I'm in this situation - especially if it's like my boss or something!
