I get the same thing mate, apples help me and drinking plenty of water to loosen up the food you eat. I drink about 3 glasses of water while i eat to ensure that when is time to remove my bowels it will be as painless as possible. But apples are just as good, they contain this supplement (pectine i think) which helps loosen dense material. Also undiluted orange squash can help in the most severe cases....GOOD LUCK!!!

It depends on what you mean by constipated. Some people believe if they don't have a bowel movement everyday, they're constipated. The truth is, many people don't have daily BMs, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with them. If you find you regularly have 1 BM every 3 days, and that BM is not hard, dry, or difficult to expel, you would not be considered constipated. Being constipated means having difficultly during BMs because the stool is too hard, dry, or large to pass easily. If this is the problem you're complaining about, try adding raw fruit and vegetables to your diet. Cabbage (like cole slaw), carrots, broccoli, celerey, etc., are VERY GOOD at adding needed roughage. You should also add more water to your diet, daily.

Change your diet completely. Cut out all the rubbish from your diet. Don't even buy those things. Introduce lots more fruit and vegetables into your diet. East wholemeal bread instead of white and drink plenty of water.

Exercise regularly too. All these things will help improve your health in general and you will find your constipation clears up. Good luck.

drink tons and tons of water, and also eat all the *fresh* fruits and veggies that you can except bananas, which make you more constipated. (have given them to kids to cure diarhea.)

it may also help to have some caffeine.
