Hope you don't mind, I would like to take your question further. A standard Resume is a good starting point but for every Job application you should prepare a tailored Resume. The reason being is you need to show to your prospective employer how your skills match what they are looking for. A standard Resume makes the prospective employer work to see the connection. I know from having worked as a recruuiter that some times Applicants just miss out because I could see no connection between them and the job. So yes look for a standard format but each time you apply spend a lot of time looking at what is being asked for in the vacancy notice. Identify the skills and attributes required and then write you resume so to highlight the matching skills you have. Don't get me wrong............never lie or exagerate, Just make your resume simple and easy to understand!

there are a lot of places on the net that u might be able to find example resumes, But if u want a Professional resume and one that u can have ready online and have it sent to employers or make prints of, I'd say www.monster.com is the best choice.
I think u need to become a member first. But I believe its a free membership and it only takes a few minutes to register with them.
