i find it is really hard to get some guys to understand that i do not need long lasting stuff i love where i'm at the moment......the more they c that the harder to get read off them......

No, as a matter of fact it's very right! Good for you for having your life together and knowing what you want out of life. So many people search for years to try to figure out what they want to do with their lives. Being strong and independent are great qualities and you should be proud of yourself for being so together. Some guys are very intimidated by strong women and just can't handle them. You will find someone who appreciates these qualities, it just takes time. My wife is like that and had a hard time with men telling her that she didn't need anybody because she was so independent. I found her confidence and strength to be very sexy and it was one of the things that attracted me to her at the beginning. It takes a strong, secure man to be with someone like you so wait for the right guy and he will appreciate your qualities.

its not wrong, but you can be offensive in the way you go about it and thats the read im clearly getting here. perhaps a bit more people skills might help.
