I live alone and I like to have the TV on in the background, it helps me not feel lonely or freaked.

Why watch a TV show or movie with 15-20 min of commercials per hour, when you can get it commmercial free!!! Since the Internet, the TV has basically been keeping audiences with Sports! News, shows, and movies can all be obtained by the internet, but for live Sports, the best option is still TV! So, TV is the sports source!

I like to have a TV as I like to have a computer... Because I can be kept informed about what is going on in the world. It is also because you can't always read a book, go out, play video games... humans create themselves some new needs and as everybody I need to have many different activities. TV is also very useful when you need to escape your awful life... you know, you had a bad working day and want to see something different from your life... and sometimes TV provides it. But it is also so near from reality !

i like to be informed about some news... it's where i listen music (on my pc, too) and i watch some tv shows i really like (something like American Idol - i'm mad about this kind of shows)
for relaxation, watching a good movie. and don't forget that there are many people who don't have a computer, and tv is their only way to relax/being informed

I didn't take care of it well enough, and so I didn't replace it when someone threw the tv out the window a month ago.
