No. It's the people who are ignoring the reality of the situation who are harming the country. Both countries, Iraq and the US.

No, I think they are very committed to doing their jobs. If they don't and if they don't act as a unified team someone would get harmed or killed. Do they want to win? I served for 10 years in the military. After awhile, it is a matter to finish your mission--alive and well, while protecting your friends wherever your missions take you, and less of a matter of politics. You pretty much leave the decisions to your superior officers. Sure some disagree as we all do, but overall soldiers and sailors are in survival modes, and they do what they are ordered to do.

Our wonderful kids, in harm's way, who believe in the war have been fed so much propaganda they are willing to risk their lives. Wait 'til they find out they're giving their lives to beef up the pocketbooks of the wealthy...mass murdering for cash. No, Doug, they're not responsible...the war profiteering executives and stockholders are.

I see you're up on the latest right-wing talking points (propaganda)...blame the liberals for Cheney / Bush and Company's godless war. I'm surprised Bill Clinton's name didn't come into it. How pathetic!

Believing in the war is their choice, though I disagree, and wanting to win is hopefully every soldiers wish. If anyone is harming our country, it is the one who ordered them to go there, instead of sending them to catch Osama bin Laden and his merry men who live happily on as our fine young soldiers sacrifice so much in the wrong country.

Answer man is right for the most part we did win. I wish the media gave us that much credit. the problem lies with the finish. Like getting Married the ceremony is over the reception is over and the Honeymoon is over... If we get a divorce in 2 years was it worth it at all? We need to make it last and leave it better than when we arrived.

No, but our politcians are. Most in the military are not concerned about the big picture. Military personelle obey orders, go where they are sent and carry out missions. It is our so-called leaders who bear responsibility for getting us into this war, and so poorly executing it. We need to hold the Bush administration accountable.

You know what is coming don't you? More Bush bashing and more belittling of the American soldier. The libs don't want to hear what the American soldier has to say. They only want to hear what other dems have to say. God bless the American soldier and God bless America. Words you will never hear a lib say.

Yes, they are wrong, they have won the war, they have achieved all major objectives and it is now up to the Iraqi people to take control of their own destiny and assume the responsibility of protecting their own country.
