1. Make sure you have the persmissions to use the internet.
2. Make sure the IP settings are correct on your pc, if there are any that may be assigned to you.
3. Ensure that internet explorer is assigned to connect through the connection with which you are trying to connect.
4. Ensure you have proxy settings inserted if there is one.

Your best option will be to contact the customer support of your ISP and obtain help from them to connect as there may be settings that you may not know about.

Is your router's power cord plugges into a surge protector that is heavily used by other appliances? Or maybe a wall outlet that has a heater or Air Conditioner as well?

When your power outlet is in use by other appliances, this can cause your router to not get the voltage it needs to run correctly---it might be turnign off and on or perhaps resetting.

Hope this helped :)

If you can give me the model number or your Laptop, your wireless router model number and your Internet ISP Type. I can tell you how exactly you can configure your wireless internet.

When posting such questions these informations are needed to answer. Without knowing which devices you are using its very hard to give an answer.

In addition to the other advice given above check that you have set your Firewall up to allow access. I found that our McAfee was causing this sort problem when I set mine-up
