I would think its coimbatore. Cost of living is less. At the foothills of the Nilgiris. So the weather is awesome and TOP NOTCH schools and colleges.

I guess its Vijayawada. Its not my native either, but if you look at the cost of living ,its very much cheap. It takes 10 rupees for a full-fledged Lunch and 8 ruppees for a dinner.Situated on the bank of River Krishna, you can have a wonderful sunrise and sunset. The crime rate too is low here and it has a wonderful village backdrop.
People too are warm and friendly. Its has a decent public transport and its well connected to all other major cities via rail, road and air. Really a good place to live in peacefully with your family!

The Best City is- ......JAIPUR in Rajasthan......
although the city is not so small but the transportaion system makes it small.
The people are co-operative and fallow the tradition of "ATITHI DEVO BHAW".
The cost of living is also low in comparison to other fastly growing cities in INdia.
The curroption n crime level is also very low-Moto of Rajahthan police-"Aamjan mein Viswas, aur aapradhio mein Bhay"
And if you talk about Beauty......u can find the rael beauty here....sand dunes+mount+wild life parks etc etc.........
If you really wish to see the true n traditional India with mordernixation.......come to Rajasthan.....
PADHARO MAHRE DESH........................(welcome to my land)

I hope everyone is giving his/her City's name only.
I would recommend CHENNAI, not just because I live there, but because it has a decent living environment,no law & order problem, availability of good jobs, good schools/ colleges, clean water, has a long coastline and many tourist attarctions(ancient temples, hill stations, etc nearby).
Cost of living is quite good. for eg. you can have a hearty South Indian meal for two at just $1. You can also get worldwide cuisine at very affordable rates in Chennai.
Welcome!
