Cold feet means that either your feet have poor circulation or that your head & body are running too cold & want to conserve heat by on purpose not circulating enough to your feet. Check this out by putting on a thickish cap (one that will conserve head heat) and warmer clothes.
Improving the circulation is done by exercising the legs & taking natural suppliments- Ginko biloba (>60mg extract/day) & lecithin granuals (>1tbs/day). The former opens up capilaries so the blood that gets to the feet get to the skin more quickly, & the latter is the natural detergent to loosen any debris in your arteries & veins so the blood has no "trafic restricsions". If wearing gloves and wool socks and staying indoors where it's warm is a nuisance or doesn't help, try these other warm-up tips:

Don't smoke. It impairs circulation.
Avoid caffeine. It constricts blood vessels.
Avoid handling cold objects. Use ice tongs to pick up ice cubes, for instance.
With fingers outstretched, swing your arms in large circles, like a baseball pitcher warming up for a game. This may increase blood flow to the fingers. (Don't do this if you have bursitis or back problems!)
Do not wear footwear that is tight-fitting.
Wiggle your toes. It may help keep them warm as a result of increased blood flow.
Practice a relaxation technique, such as biofeedback

In cold climates, cayenne powder can be used topically as well as internally. One-eighth of a teaspoon sprinkled into each shoe and/or glove acts to help the body generate heat. Water-soluble components in cayenne dilate capillaries in the skin surface, producing an immediate sensation of heat. Within 15 minutes, oil-soluble compounds reach deeper tissues, generating warmth for hours.

If you have been to a doctor and do not have a condition that causes poor circulation to your feet then try rubbing your feet and ankles with 100% pure olive oil. The oil gives a warm feeling and promotes ciculation to your feet.

This sounds like a circulation problem. If your a smoker quit smoking it constricts blood flow. Also I wear socks all year I can't stand my feet to be cold and slippers.
And talk to your doctor.

You should buy those foot rugs that have lumps and bumps and rub the soles of your feet on them. Or, visit I sauna and dip your feet in a bucket filled with warm water and pebbles. Just rub you feet against those pebbles. The muscles just need to be practiced.

Same problem as yours but cod liver oil doesn't help, took high strength capsules for years. Circulation is the problem. Must see the doc, it's bloody cold

Try taking Cod Liver Oil tablets. That's what my doctor suggested. Apparently it can help improve circulation.

yes...cold feet is a sign of a circulation problem. you need to walk more and this will stop.

Hi Hun it sounds like you have got Reynard's syndrome its when all the nerve endings in all your extremities go in to spasm causing you to stay cold
