Have her go to a hospital - the longer she waits, the less likely they will ever be able to prosecute the rapist. Report the rape and take the morning after pill.

Obviously she would have been too traumatic to get the morning after pill which would help prevent any pregnancy up to 72 hours after the event. I am sensing that your friend is extremely concerned that she might fall pregnant, so other than waiting the two weeks to take a test, if she can perhaps think back to the first day of her last period then add on 14 days or so, that would be her fertile time (assuming she has a 28 day cycle).
One of the main things to focus on is did she go to the Police to report it? if not maybe with your help you could persuade her. She also urgently needs to see a doctor who will test for std's and infection etc and the Police will help in assisting with that. She will no doubt need some counselling too, not to remind her of the horror but of reiterating the fact that its not her fault that it happened.
Its not too late for any DNA evidence to be taken from either herself or the clothes she was wearing at the time, right down to her jewellery, handbag etc.
Whether this person was known or not to your friend its vital that she goes to the police to report him as soon as possible so that she can find some retribution later on plus stopping him from harming someone else.
I sincerely hope everything turns out okay for your friend and am sure with your care and support she will get there.
Good luck and best wishes

Go with her to the police if she will, or a doctor or clinic. Ask her if her clothes that she wore that night have been washed yet, they probably have but if they havent, take everything she wore and put each garment in a seperate plastic bag, in fact do this anyway, including underwear and socks, and do the same with the shoes she wore. Notice any marks on her, such as bruises. Tell her not to cut her nails yet. Offer and give her loads of support, encourage others that know to do so aswell. Try not to leave her alone for too long.
My heart goes out for her, but if they can get any evidence against this advantage taker, then appropriate actions can be taken against them.

I don´t believe that story, because if I got raped I would have gone to the clinic the next day and get the morning after pill or something. Why did she not go to the police and open a case. Things don´t add up !!!! There is unfortunately nothing you can do after 48 hours.
If it´s true it´s a really bad thing that happened and I feel with her as it happened to me when I was just 15. First get her checked out by a doctor for STD´s etc and then get her to a police station to open a case....
Good luck !!!!!

I hope she has told the police!! she will need to go to the hospital and be checked for STD's its well known that rapist normally carry them,
if he didnt use a condom she will have his dna all over her I hope she has reported this and if not you should encourage her to do so.
other than that it is too late for the morning after pill now but if she does find she is pregnant there is a simple abortion pill she can take which just makes her miscarry a couple of hours earlier.
Give her all the support you can she is going to need a good friend. xx

Hi, I'm very sorry to hear that. See a doctor FAST and the police asap. My best friend was also raped about ten years ago and thankfully she never fell pregnant, but it has affected her life to this day. I feel very sorry for your friend, try and give her as much love, support and comfort as you can. You could also ring Samaritans or your own Doctor and explain if she doesn't want to. Hope everything works out for her. xx.

If this is true then your friend should have gone to the police. They have counsellors for women in this situation and would have given her all relevant tests and advice.
Other than go to the British Pregnancy Advisory service (BPAS) or Marie Stopes websites to get proper professional advice I don't know what to say.
