Harry and Dudley Dursley got attack by Dementors but Harry used the Expecto Patronum charm so he got a letter to go to trial for underage magic and performing magis in front of a muggle. Harry finds out that Mrs. Figg(his weird cat loving neighbour) is actually a squib and he's being followed by members of the Order Of the Phoenix.
Lupin and some others picked Harry up at Privet Drive to go to the HQ which is Sirius' house. Harry gets all angsty in this book. Ron and Hermione becomes prefects(so do Draco). Their new DADA teacher, Umbridge works for the Ministry and tells the students to tell her of they hear Harry telling 'lies' about Voldemort being alive again.
Harry gets detention, Ron becomes the new Keeper while Hermione goes on a mission of knitting clothes for the house elves. Harry forms the DA and Cho kissed him during the last class before the Christmas holidays. Mr. Weasley got attack by Voldie's snake and Harry saw it in his dream so Mr. Weasley got saved and Harry, Hermione and the Weasleys spends Christmas at Sirius' house.
Harry goes on a date with Cho on Valentine's Day and Cho gets jealous of Hermione and Harry does an interview with Rita Skeeter for the Quibler and when Umbridge found out, she banned the magazine and Harry got banned from visiting Hogsmeade. Harry and the Weasley's twins got kicked off th team after Harry and one of them attacked Draco after a match. Hagrid and Trewlaney got fired.
What else eh?....Oh yeah, they have their OWLS and Harry wants to be an Auror. Mcgonnagal got attacked when she tried to stopped Umbridge from attacking Hagrid.Harry felt asleep during History and Magic and saw Sirius trapped at the Department of Ministry and rushed there with Ron,Hermione,Ginny, Neville and Luna. It was a trap and the Death Eaters fought the member of the Order and Sirius got killed by Belatrix and Voldemort appeared and everyone saw him and the Ministry had to admit that Voldemort is back...

THIS IS NOT IN ORDER: professor umbridge was the new DADA teacher. harry punched malfoy that got him out of the team with the weasley twins. making ginny - seeker and ron - keeper. umbridge appointed students, mostly Slytherins as her "i forgot what they're called", but they have more power than prefects. harry took occlumency lessons with snape. harry kissed cho chang. some students made the DA (dumbledore's army). harry saved arthur weasley's life because he "dreamt" it. voldemort faced the wizard he feared - Dumbledore. Cornelius fudge believed dumbledore that voldemort indeed came back. harry learned the prophecy and saw it in the department of mysteries. the war occurred mostly in the department of mysteries as well. luna lovegood was introduced. harry was able to see the thestrals. most of the death-eaters were locked up in azkaban at the end. siruis died. the room of requirement was discovered by the students. that's about the most important stuff there.

Harry is attacked by Dementors by his cousins house. THe new DADA teacher is Dolores Umbridge. Harry goes into the Department of Mysteries to rescue Sirius. Sirius is killed by Bellatrix. He is really sad.

Order of the Phoenix have been re-formed, and worked secretly against Voldemort. Ministery of Magic denied Voldemorts return and declared Harry as charlatan. Cornelious Fudge feared that Dumbledore will replace him from his chair, so he put a teacher to Hogwarts. In time, that teacher replaced Dumbledore by Fudge's decree. Harry and his friends have secretly formed a group called Defence Organization, and trained themselves in Defence Against Dark Arts. A big group of Dead- Eaters escaped from Azkaban, and joined in the ranks of Voldemort once again. Harry kept seeing dreams about one room in the Ministery of Magic and that made him curious through all book. In the end, Harry and his friends confronted Dead-Eaters at Ministery of Magic, and Order of Phoenix interfered in time to prevent them getting killed. Dumbledore himself dueled Voldemort in the Entrance Hall of Ministery, so revealing his return. Draco Malfoy's father, Lucious Malfoy also have been caught and thrown to Azkaban.

Ron and hermione become prefect, Ron joins the qudditch team, harry and the twins get kicked off the quidditch team, Mr. Weasley gets attacked by a snake and is in
st. mongos, Harry begins having dreams and they lead him to go to the ministry of magic,where he meets voldemort, sirius gets pushed back into a veil by his cousin,belletrix lestrange, and he dies, the ministry wises up about voldemort,and harry is no longer a head case just waiting for ST.Mungos

Sirius is killed by Bellatrix and that is a great loss for Harry. There is a new DADA teacher called Bellatrix. She becomes a nightmare for Harry and his friends. McGonagall also becomes ill and Bellatrix appoints Malfoy and some others as prefects. The DA (dumbledore's army) is also formed by Harry and his friends.
