He's a respectable guy paying you a compliment..take it for what it's worth to you and hope one day another like him comes along and is single .Would you rather him cheat/try to get you to cheat?? Is that the kind of guy you'd be with?

He probably has bad self image and wants you to tell him he is attractive to. It doesn't happen often but it does feel good when someone tells me that I am pretty;)

In my experience they hate it. You give them a little compliment like "Baby you've got a sweet ***", or "Nice rack baby" and they get all huffy. Women!
